Reconnective Healing® is based on the fundamental assumption that there is a universal life energy that sustains all living organisms. This universal life force is free and available to all. The healing energy is channelled through the healer to the client.
Reconnective Healing® sessions can work very well with other modalities such as Reiki, Healing Touch and Therapeutic Massage to name a few, as it boosts the effects of these to balance, centre, focus and motivate the individual, to improve well-being and to resolve issues through vivid dreams and memory flashbacks, or immediate releases directly following a healing session.

Research
Prominent doctors and medical researchers around the world are studying the extraordinary healings that have been reported by the patients of Dr Eric Pearl. Reconnective Healing® practitioners are not 'attuned' but rather, hands are 'activated' - this is performed during the seminars run by Dr Eric Pearl and permanently expands the practitioner's energy field to be a vessel for a specific energy vibration (or frequency).
Many people have asked whether Reconnective Healing® is the same as Reiki, as an attunement is also a necessary part of the process, therefore they consider them to do the same. However, this is definitely not the case. Reconnective Healing is effective for emotional, mental and spiritual healing. Many who are drawn to Reconnective Healing® are indeed practicing other healing modalities or even medical practitioners, scientists, royalty and truck drivers! They are learning how they too can master this unique healing frequency and become practitioners who wish to blend the power of the two vibrations in their work. Reconnective Healing® seems to blend with many other modalities and that is probably why many other practitioners are drawn to it.
